Average Class A motorhome length, Width, height and weight
Class A motorhomes are the biggest of them all, they are also the longest ones. Most of the class A motorhome have lengths that range from 21 feet up to 45 feet.
Class A motorhomes on an average can be said to have around 33 feet length.
They can be of an average height of around 10 feet high. Class A motorhomes are biggest and thus their weight is also high. A good 40 feet long class motorhome can weigh more than 40000 pounds, obviously the weight will vary for different models and makes. A class A motorhome on an average can have a weight of around 33000-36000 pounds. Class A RV width stands at an average of 9.5 feet. Class A motorhomes will need bigger garage for storage. Garage would need a average height of at least 14 feet or more and length in excess of 45 feet.

Average Class C motorhome length, and other dimensions

Average Class B motorhome length, Width, height and weight
Class B are smaller in comparison to class A motorhome and class C motorhomes. On an average the length of a class B motorhome stands at 20 feet. They weigh around 10000 to 20000 pounds on an average and have width that is 8-9 on an average. They have height of 7-9 feet.

Average Travel trailer length and Width
Travel trailers or a camper trailer on an average are around 20 feet in length and 8 feet in width.

Why understanding the length of your RV is important
Most of national parks are located in scenic and beautiful surroundings. When you move into a national park for the first time, you are surprised by the restrictions there. Most national parks will have parking restrictions that allow RVs of particular length and if your RV exceeds that length, then you may not use it. Thus, its important to know the size of your RV. You should know the exact length, width and height of your RV.
Each national park has its own designated length restriction and it is found that on an average the length tends to be around 28 feet. You will also find national parks, campsites that allow up to 40 feet long RV and also ones that allow only up to 20 feet. - Limekiln State Park :This beautiful redwood park south of carmel allows motorhomes of up to 25 feet long. For trailers the length restriction s only 15 feet.
- Morro Bay State Park: This lagoon featured park allows trailers and motorhomes that are long upto 35 feet
- Point Mugu state park: This state park located in santa monica allows for trailers and motorhomes that are 31 feet long
- San Onofre: This One of the most popular beaches around California allows for campers motorhomes and trailers that are 25 feet long
- Turlock Lake: This state recreation area can be a good place to camp for a weeks time. It has RV length restriction of 24 feet for trailers and for other motoromes it is 27 feet.
- Lake Oroville : This recreation area allows trailers of length 35 feet and motorhomes of upto 40 feet long.
- Folsom Lake: This recreation area located in Sierra foothills is great for biking, hiking and camping. If you are headed here with your RV make sure the length does not exceed 31 feet in length.
